  13.                                INSTALLATION

  16.     The easiest way  to install this program is to first build a temp
  17.     directory, and go to it.  If  you have  the  self-extracting file
  18.     "Found402.EXE",  just type "Found402", otherwise  if you have the
  19.     file called "Found402.ZIP", type "PKUNZIP Found402". The file will
  20.     unzip itself, and you can look at what's there and get a grasp of
  21.     what  you will want  to move to a directory in  your  path  (like
  22.     \UTIL or \BAT), and what you will just want to read  and move off
  23.     to floppy, or whatever it is you do with files like this one.

  25.     Most likely,  you will want to move the following  to a directory
  26.     that is referenced in your path statement:

  32.     Look at  the file,  "D_TEST.BAT".   If you  want to make your own
  33.     .bat files, it will give you a sample of  how to put one together
  34.     that uses "D".

  42.     the order form,  the most essential information  is listed in the
  43.     "D" registration screens.

  49.     THIS IS A FULLY-FUNCTIONAL, SHAREWARE VERSION OF "D".

  51.     We believe  that anyone  who owns one of our utilities  will want
  52.     the rest. They complement, and cooperate with each other in a way
  53.     that gives  the environment  a particular feel  that you wouldn't
  54.     otherwise experience.  We thought about tacking on an extra $5.00
  55.     per product,  but at the same time  we wanted to provide you with
  56.     another incentive to become one of our customers. So the decision
  57.     was made  to throw in  all of the other  Foundation Utilities  to
  58.     provide that incentive.

  60.     "C"  and  "ERGO"  are  a couple of great utilities  that you will
  61.     really want to use every day.   Both of them are included in this 
  62.     offer.  You will probably use our "T" utility too, but writing it
  63.     did not require a great deal of effort as did the others. We have
  64.     been known to send our customers  beta copies of whatever is cur-
  65.     rently in development whenever we process an order.

  72.     D_VENDOR.DOC file for requirements.   Note, non-profit BBS's  and
  73.     User  groups  are free  to  distribute  this  program,  the  only

  81.     office.   Also,  if you want us to change  the constants in  "D"s
